Our team

Matt Baskin is our Co-Founder and President at ForgeNet Solutions. Matt has over a decade of experience in telecommunications, information technology, and construction as an Assistant Superintendent, IT Systems Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Manager, and Leader. Prior to beginning his professional career Matt served 5 years in the United States Army and deployed to Eastern Province – Afghanistan where he received the Purple Heart Medal. During his career, Matt graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology – Cybersecurity, a Master of Business Administration – IT Management (MBA-ITM) and earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. He is known for managing expectations, problem solving, and process improvement, which is what ForgeNet Solutions is all about! Born and raised in Virginia, Matt has a great deal of DMV pride. You can find him cheering on DC sports teams regularly either at home, with family, or out with friends.
